WordPress Excruciatingly Slow

In their last “upgrade” to their customer-hosted solution, WordPress messed something up in their administration module in the back-end. Any action takes minutes. Imagine clicking on “Publish” and having time to go make a sandwich and get a cup of coffee before the screen returns and you can continue working.

The user community is in uproar. There are thousands of posts in  the forums about this, and apparently no help from WordPress. Fortunately, this does not seem to affect the WordPress hosted systems – like the one I am posting this on – but any customer-hosted solutions, like our work sites, are virtually unusable.

If this goes on much longer, without WordPress help, they will lose customers rapidly. Blogger, help!
