In the Commander-in-Chief Forum, Matt Lauer asked Trump what he had experienced in his personal life or professional life the he believed made him qualified to be commander-in-chief.
Trump gave a rambling answer, but this first six words were:
Well, I built a great company…
He went on:
…I have been all over the world, I have dealt with foreign countries…
Seriously?
He thinks he is qualified to be commander-in-chief because he has built a great company? There are tens of thousands of people in the world who built great companies. There are millions of people who have been all over the world and dealt with foreign countries. That does not make them all qualified to be commander-in-chief, although I believe that many of those would be eminently MORE qualified than Trump.
Trump did not answer the question.
