American policy in Iraq, causing disease, destruction, poverty and destitution over a period of decades, reaching back into the 1980s, has helped cause the basket case that country is today. Our leaders do not work on our behalf for lofty goals of freedom and justice in the Middle East. They are meddling with entire countries, playing them against each other, for economic interests. Our soldiers die not because they are protecting the freedom of other people, or our security, our soldiers die because the American military industrial complex has an interest in unrest in the Middle East.

It is our own rogue government that fans the flames of terrorism. To stop terrorism, all we have to do is stop meddling in the Middle East and let these countries breathe.
That’s why I am in favour of a non-interventionist policy by every nation in the world.
