A German atheist shoemaker discovered that some of their customers in the United States were experiencing delays in delivery and other problems. Their packaging tape prominently featured the name of their brand: Atheist.
So they decided to test it. They sent some shipments with unmarked tape and others with their standard Atheist tape. The Atheist-branded packages took an average of three days longer to reach their destinations. And while only one package from the unmarked tape set went missing, nine of the Atheist-branded packages went missing. These (statistically significant) results were recently released on their website.
Atheists are one of the most distrusted groups in America. Could it be that postal workers methodically and systematically boycott products they don’t agree with?
