Friends were visiting Switzerland this summer and were there during the supermoon period. From the balcony of their lodging they were able to watch the moonrise, catching some great zoomed shots. One of them (permission by V.T.) inspired this painting.

Of all the “supermoon” pictures people have posted and shown this last week, this is my absolute favorite, taken by my good friend. No tricks, just a good zoom, taken from the balcony of where they’re staying in Switzerland. Where are my hiking boots?
