This is a sight for my Southern Californian heart:
A couple of days ago I was in Albany. It was 3° F in the morning. Here is a picture of the parking lot at Panera. Zoom in and notice the shopping cart embedded on top of the snow hill.
Your snowplows at work.
This is a silly post. I love visiting your blog.
As I was flying out toward Chicago. I looked down on Lansing and waved to you. It looked all white and ass-cold.
It was white and ass-cold. I’m sure I felt you nearby because I checked out your blog that day. You are a coast-to-coast jet traveler and I am that shopping cart, stuck in the snow in the midwest. But I like it. The snowplow was gentle–it might even have been a transformer.
I was back in Milwaukee yesterday and saw more mountains of snow in the parking lots. I didn’t take any more pictures, since not enough time had gone by since the last one….
