On Dec 6, 2016, the USA Today featured an editorial by Steven Strauss titled The Clintons Have Done Enough Damage. I thought that was an excellent piece, with very strong points and sober language.

I voted for Clinton, but more importantly, I voted against Trump. I would have voted for a third Obama term, I would have voted for Sanders. I would have voted for Biden, had I had the chance.

Clinton won the popular vote by more than 2.7 million. True.

But it’s the Clintons, by their legacy, and by their actions, who presented Trump to the nation. Trump should never have been able to get near the White House.

He is in it now.

It’s time for the Clintons to retire, ride off into the sunset, and stay out of politics. Let a new group come in and clean up. They had their 30 years.
