Norbert….we are “of an age”…& Leonard Cohen obviously had an impact upon your life, as he did upon mine//me….& upon many of ours & subsequent generations.

We are the poorer for his passing….yet vastly richer for his having lived, written & sung.
In this instance, John Donne’s words are especially poignant……
“Every man’s death diminishes me,
for I am involved in mankind,
therefore,send not to know for whom the (death) bell tolls,
