Escondido is a small city of about 150,000 inhabitants. A few years ago our police department moved into new headquarters “somewhere on North Center City.” I never bothered to check where. The other day I drove by the place by coincidence, noticed a palatial building and wondered what it was.

To Protect and Serve – it’s our new police headquarters. This place is amazing. What in the world does a little city police department do with such a behemoth?
