Fact-Checking Bill Clinton on Medicare

There was a light moment in Clinton’s speech where he said  that the Romney campaign had stated that they weren’t going to allow fact-checkers dictate their campaing strategy. It’s a scary thought when fact-checking is interpreted as adversarial.

It turns out that careful evaluation of the facts regarding Clinton’s comments on Medicare check out true only a little over half of the time. A couple of statements are found to be false, and others so-so. Check out this Washington Post article for the details.
