Movie Review: Salt

Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) is a CIA agent accused of working for the Russians. When that happens, her world comes crashing down and she runs. The runs away all movie long, from bad guys trained to track you down no matter where you are. She jumps from one moving truck to another. She jumps like spiderwoman down elevator shafts, and as  she goes along the knocks out cold other CIA operatives with her bare hands, “eliminates” an entire team of Russian ruffians, one action scene after another.

Do not look for a plot. There is one, but it’s weak and contrived. Do not look for many characters, because they are shallow. But do look for Evelyn with blond hair, dark hair, long hair, short hair, boy hair, girl hair. She is a master of disguise and a master of  resurrection when shot, dumped out of flying helicopters, coming out of gas-filled rooms – but I ramble.

It’s an action movie, actually a pretty good one. If you can turn off your brain for a couple of hours and just enjoy.
