Today at 6:53pm we had a significant earthquake. It was of 4.9 magnitude centered near Anza, California. That’s 60 miles from here.
We felt it strongly here in Escondido.
Our world, our country, our state, and our community has suffered enough damage already. Right now we do NOT NEED AN EARTHQUAKE.
This definitely shook me up.
bummer. deep breathe.
I am really sorry to hear..in Hatay Antakya also had same problem recently.
Yes, the real world does not stop!
Stay safe… thinking of you.
Hi Vera – yes, we’re good, looks like. Just a normal rattle and shake.
It was really strong in Fallbrook. I ran for the back door, calling Binary (my dog), but she beat me there. I guess 5000 years of living in human dwellings have given them pretty good instincts.
