    Walk into any truly recreated cabin on this continent. You will find a trough in front of the fireplace. That area where the woman of the house used to walk back and forth, back and forth, spinning the yarn that was woven into the cloth that clothed the children that grew into …
    And yet … Even those who embrace the past and seek to embrace the long lost technologies that were once the center of our society and everyday life, in general have no idea how to make it work.
    It used to take a century or more for such things to be lost.
