I decided to read Gone with the Wind. This is purported to be the only book that sold more copies than the bible. I have heard this about a few other books, Agatha Christi’s and Shakespeare’s, for instance.

But in today’s time, who has actually read Gone with the Wind? Almost  everyone has seen the movie. As movies go, it probably didn’t even get ten percent into the depth of this 950-page epic.

It won Mitchell the Pulitzer Prize.

I usually have trouble with the classics. Let’s see how I hold up.
