I have enjoyed  following Orson Scott Card’s blog (see Uncle Orson Review on right under Blogroll) and I just recently finished reading his latest book, Pathfinder on January 3rd. On New Year’s Day Orson Scott Card had a stroke, and he wrote about it a few days later on his blog with an attitude as nonchalant as it gets.

The thought of a stroke frightens me (duh!) as I have seen some very, very bad examples of it. Having it happen to Card practically under my eyes (reading his blog and his book while it’s going on) shook me up.
