Now that we have a president of the Internet age, we have a conundrum. Everything the president does and writes is subject to public records laws and can be subpoenaed by Congress and the courts. Aha. So the answer is to not allow the president to email?
Hmm, it’s dangerous to walk the streets and drive the roads, so from now on I’ll stay in bed for the rest of my life.
One facet of this does make sense: Cell phones can be traced and tracked, so the president could be followed. I admit that this would be a problem. But I can’t believe that we can’t come up with a secure device for the guy so he can stay in touch.
