When I was recently in Germany, I calculated that the price of gas there is $7 a gallon — partly due to the euro being so strong compared to the dollar.
Here in Southern California, it approaches $4 a gallon, and we complain.
The other day I saw Bill Maher on TV:
“If I am paying four dollars for a gallon of gas, the little television screen had better be showing porn.”
