This is the office in Albuquerque where Microsoft started in 1975. It was not until 1979 that they moved back to Seattle. Gates chose Albuquerque initially to be close to the office of MITS, the little company that built the Altair 8800, the first home computer that started a revolution.

I found this picture on a blog by Karen Alma. There was also a plaque about Microsoft in front of that building, shown in Karen’s pictures, but I found out that as of now, that plaque has been ripped off.

Vandalism – in  that neighborhood?
